Lead the Story You Want to Tell… Heal, Rise, and Raise Others

Presented by Dr. April Minatrea

Consider your leadership story. Perhaps you’ve had leaders who inspired and empowered you – believing in you more than you believed in yourself. Perhaps you have also been hurt by a leader – suffering a leadership injury with lasting effects.

Discover how those who’ve experienced leadership injury can overcome with a hero mindset, restoring confidence and trust that accelerates performance. Level up your own leadership by avoiding pitfalls that could make you the villain in someone else’s story – and instead be the guide who brings out the hero in others.

For HR professionals, this session offers both personal insight and practical strategy for addressing one of the common causes of disengagement and turnover. You’ll learn how to identify signs of leadership injury within your teams, promote recovery and resilience, and equip others to become healthier leaders – creating cultures where people and performance thrive.

At this program, you will:

  • Identify sign and symptoms of leadership injuries – including the three most common patterns you’re likely to see affecting your team.
  • Learn the five-step process for healing leadership injuries – using pain from the past as fuel to become better and stronger than ever.
  • Discover key shifts for becoming a restorative leader who heals and protects others from leadership injuries – building a lasting legacy of leadership.
